Regret Buying a stupid cheap motherboard for My Computer

I consider myself lucky that my 750 ti works with my mercury motherboard just fine, it has stock bios back from 2011 (when 2nd gen / sandy bridge launched). They haven't released any bios update and not even stock bios are listed on their site. Only few audio/ lan or video driver.

I was skeptical when i heard this brand name, never really heard before and all-in-all a completely unknown brand, but it was my only option as i was on a tight budget. I still regret my decision and wish i could have gone with intel oem mobo but it was twice the price though i did had the chance but i went miser.

Initially, i was thinking about getting DB75EN which has all good features such as SATA 3, USB 3.0 and PCIe 3.0. But the price online was quite ridiculous (especially on amazon). So i thought to get a cheaper option such as the one originally came with my PC, DH61WW. It was priced around ₹3,500 (54$) few months ago (i think around in august) but due to some heavy fluctuation the price went double and currently it is selling for ₹7,000 (108$). It has PCIe 2.0, USB 2.0, SATA 2 (quite older technology). But the one mind boggling feature was it has fully functional UEFI BIOS (which were released for it in a bios update around the launch of Windows 8).

I consider myself unlucky for ones that the initial replacement from Gigabyte (H61M-S) i got had a manufacturing defect which would cause it to stop booting after BSOD crash of changed bios settings from IDE to AHCI or vice-versa. Mercury is really an amateur motherboard manufacturing company and it shows in their work and effort to manufacture these motherboards.

One of the review on Amazon India of their PIH55Z motherboard says  (1 star rating review) :

First of all this mercury pih55z is a mini ITX motherboard with all the essential features cut-off, It is the worlds tiniest motherboard I've ever seen, square shaped, probably the size of my stretch Palm !!! It comes with no features at all. It is a basic motherboard like Raspberry Pi , It comes with American Megatrends Bios (AMI Bios ver080015/v2.67) which is the worst bios ever .Most of the important settings( like CPU Frequency , CPU/Ram voltage ) are locked and hidden. It has a bad OEM Lock, so you can't use Intel turbo boost' technology and locks your CPU speed to low and stock !!! It has only one 4pin CPU fan connectors, there is no provision for any other System fans . It just is plainly rubbish and has a misleading title saying " Extreme " but is a basic board like raspberry pi and has no basic features that a H55 lga1156 socket motherboard should have !!! Overall avoid buying this, it is worth less than Rs.500 actually it is not even worth buying for 1ruppee. Avoid , Mercury is an inexperienced manufacturer that doesn't know what a motherboard is !!!! Don't buy , I bought from from a seller called Comfortliving (a.k.a Gamebox) , the product sucks and is the worst mobo I've ever seen !!! Although Comfortliving delivered good service , Mercury and The bios are the worst parts, No proper CPU support for Intel CPU with turbo boost .... Don't buy unless it is Intel celeron or pentium... In short buy a MSI or Asus Motherboard , this is not a motherboard for an i5 or i7 though it says it supports, driver issues are the worst, no driver available at only CD drivers which don't install at all....this is one of the worst motherboards...

Original Review : Do not buy this at any cost , it sucks.!!!

Don Bradman Cricket 14 (DBC14) - IPL 2016 Edition - Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Rising Pune Supergiants

Modded Version of the game (DBC14) with newly released IPL 2016 edition patch.

Due to a bug in the patch, fielding restrictions didn't lift at all and so i couldn't have even have more than 2 fielders around boundary at all.

It was an awesome match, i got hat-trick on the first three balls of the match with the bowling of Ravichandran Ashwin.

Bowling somewhat did went down somewhat afterwards but still the total posted by Virat Kohli's team was not good enough.

I did hit few sixes but too many dot balls made the game go down to the wire, in 4th over after hitting the six i though Dhoni should hit the winning runs (hopefully a six) but due to that i played some weird shots resulting in 4 dot balls and 2 wickets which made the game go till the last over and luckily i was able to hit six on 3rd ball.

After 1 needed off 3 balls no one would have expected to game to finish with a wide with last ball remaining that too due to a bug that occurs even when the batsman is in the line of ball but shuffle aside too much which game registers as not playable (might have been fixed in new updates though).

Due to issues with my Xbox 360 controller (i got a cheap chinese rebrand which ultimately sucks and had only 3 months warranty), i can't give proper direction to my shots and footwork is messed up too. Both Left and Right stick are fucked up so i don't play above pro level as i might experience difficulty.

Right Stick still not that bad but due to jammed Left Stick I can't spin the ball at all which causes me to be smashed all around the park during their overs.

 ➤ More Realistic Gameplay
➤ All IPL Teams of 2016
 ➤ Vastly Improved Graphics
➤ Updated Roster with Latest Players
➤ Actual Faces of most Players
➤ Matching Bowling Action of Major International Bowlers
 ➤ Major Bug Fixes
➤ Some Major International Batsman use their real technique

One of the Best Sci-Fi Shooting Game of Modern Era, Hard Reset Redux (2016)

Awesome shooter with great guns (seems like only two of them though), don't mock me for my casual shooting as I'm not very good with controllers (have a chinese Xbox 360 rebrand) in aiming (like most of us), i would probably the game next time with mouse and i am generally not too bad while gaming with mouse though i have a pretty cheap one which mistracks alot due to bad sensor.

Coming back to the game, I find the tricky mysterious parts such as finding how to broke into power supply region, unlocking layered protected area, extinguishing power to be quite fascinating.In-game music keep you feeling excited too. Destroying tanks, cars and other stuff feels satisfying too.

I removed the part of videos where i was doing something stupid, or taking too long understand to do what to do next. Hope to continue series with many more future of this game and next time even better display of skills :)

Foreign Brands ripping off Indian Consumers? A look at pricing and policies of MNCs in India

iPhones are generally consider to be overpriced all around the world. But, when it comes to India, people still blindly buy it despite it being most most expensive compared to other parts of the world.

Many Indian brands make loads of good quality products at reasonable price but many Indian despise them because they think just because "it's made by a local company, the quality is most likely to be terrible" which is a very stupid belief.

I have owned many products made by Indian brands some of them were not as quite expected but most others did upto the expectations.

Being from middleclass family and lots of restrictions being put for luxurious stuff. I had no choice but to find the best products for the price and i certainly did not fail for the most part.

Recently, When i started to go deep and discovered that products of most MNCs (MultiNational Companies) were priced quite higher than what they actually are in other countries such as UK, USA, Russia, Canada etc. Another thing I noticed when i looked around that same type of products by Indian brands were much cheaper and even lesser priced than their ones as compare the price in developed countries.

......So the Question that Arises in Mind !!!!

How come Indian brands generally maintain above average quality and yet sell products at much lower rate than any other foreign brand (mainly American ones)? Well, the answer is a quite straightforward one....

They are big game players !!! They want to make as much profit as they could by fooling people and Indian Government doesn't even care which makes it even worse. It also helps USA maintain their economy as their companies earn much larger profit and it's no worse than being slaved like Britishers did for 200 years but atleast we knew about and some people fought for it but nowadays people accept this indirect slavery and think of themselves as cool just because they have too much money, but remember nothing ever goes unpaid.

The amount of people who believe in hype of International Brands is staggering. It boils my blood to see companies like Apple and Samsung dominating the market of Mobile sector which proves it's quite easy to fool people nowadays if you're smart, have enough money to invest in a startup and the most important thing... the foundation of company is in USA or any other developed nation. Ever wondered about top 20 World Wide Brands and found name of a developing or especially Indian Brand name on the list? Most Probably Not !!!

This completely proves and clarifies how powerful nations of the world are trying to take control of the planet. They don't care about your loss or suffering. They just want to brainwash people and monopolize the whole market sector by their dirty tactics.

So my humble suggestion to all Indians, please wake up before it's too late or our country will suffer in the hands of world's most powerful nation and always remember that you have the power to change even though our government is being ignorant about most issue we face but still if we all unite and fight against the odds it can do wonders against any kind of evil (doesn't matter how strong it is).

Top 5 Reasons Why Online Gaming Sucks for Real

There have always been a debate about stability and functionality of video games in online multiplayers. Initially, video games were meant for some quality time alone but that's not true anymore. Majority of Gamers who buy original copy of a game are more likely to play it online with friends, crews or even strangers as pirated version generally kick off campaign or story mode without
any major issues.

1. Lag
With most server located in US or generally developed countries, the chances are you gonna have really bad ping times if you are in any other part of the world (especially 3rd world countries).

2. Aimbots
This has been a rampant issue just like piracy but in completely different form. Even with Valve's Anti Cheat or VAC secured servers, there are plenty cheater who use these tricks without getting banned.

3. Cheats and Hacks

Just like Aimbots but generally in non-shooting games such as Minecraft, Sims etc. These are really annoying if you're a pro at a game yet failing miserably because of those dirty little bastards.

4. Difficulty
As a casual gamer, like many. I always struggled in MMOs and competitive online games such as Team Fortress 2, Counter Strike Global Offensive etc. Many gamers are fine with single player mode but when it comes to competitive online gaming, it can be a challenge for lots of us.

5. Mods
This might not be as negatively effective as the ones mentioned above but it does cause heavy stability issue with the person using different mod or original game.

Why you should support Indian Brands & not blindly consider them Cheap

Today, We see alot of products from Indian brands such as Micromax, Karbonn, Xolo, Lava, Intex, Spice, Celkon  etc. in mobile and tablet market which are quite remarkable for the price given their hardware specifications.

Recently, when I checked price of Karbonn Machfive which is only available on Amazon in India despite a long list of other major ecommerce such as Flipkart and Snapdeal.
Mind Blown, You get 2GB DDR3L RAM, 5 inch HD Screen, Lollipop 5.0 Android Version, 2200mah battery which is adequate in my opinion and not to forget with a very sleek yet stylish look.

The phone also resembles ridiculously overpriced and recently released IPhone 6S design and build quality.

Another recently released phone in the same price range.  Micromax Canvas Xpress 4G which costs around 6,600Rs. on Flipkart also seem to be a bang for the buck considering it's specs as they are quite similar to Karbonn Machfive but with 4G Network Support and  double internal storage (16GB).

I think the real issue lies in the honesty of retailers and companies.  I also do like Zebronics they make decent computer related accessories some other peripherals such as speakers, mp3 players, headphones, mouse, webcams, printers and scanners etc. at a very cheap price though they seem to have some quality issues which are not so often seen in their higher end products such as the Headphone (Iron Head 7.1) I bought recently which is working flawlessly since months and is a steal for it's price and quality.

I see OnePlus One / Two / X to be priced very similar to US and China price and that's the reason for it's huge boost to sales. I think for most foreign brands like Apple, Samsung, Sony,  are just monopolizing the Indian market for their personal greed and huge profits, there's a certainly lack of honesty when it comes to pricing in India, especially by foreign brands.

IPhone is considered overpriced even in US by genuine and experienced mobile user but still Indians go on about it as if they are getting 1kg of diamond for free while it roughly costs 30% than America. This mentality of cheaper things don't last long or have major issues need to stop because it's 21st century and which vast improvement in technology, products do cost a lot less in production that what many people think.

Some people also consider Karbonn and Micromax to be a cheap company even though all major parts of hardware are imported from China internationally.fairly priced.
Just because products from them are

Even Apple Ipad has a 'made in China' tag over it as i saw on the one my Aunt own. I just can't resist the double standard of these people and I hate 95% of foreign brands for their pricing policy because they have much lesser price for same product in US.

Why Video Games System Requirements keeps on increasing for PC?

I am really sad to see the current state of gaming industry, where with 9 yr old consoles people can enjoy decent quality of graphics with almost playable framerates with some restrictions and compromise.
PC games generally struggle to run same game in 720p with same hardware specs.
This issue needs a good look from developers to publishers. The code should be optimized enough to run games on most Midrange PCs but that has not been the case as of recent.
