Circle 500 Watts APFC Power Supply Review

My Stunning Looking Quality Circle PSU
So two years back i got this Circle 500 watts APFC PSU for my PC as my Corsair VS450 PSU was having random reboot issues that i had to suffer for 1 and a half year (Oct. 2014-April 2016). I got this PSU in early May, not only the price was great (i bought it for ₹2550) but the build quality was also above par. It's the cheapest 500W PSU in Indian market with AMD Gaming / Crossfire and Nvidia SLI certification.

One of the most satisfying thing i noticed about this PSU while installing it my PC was how slick Motherboard 24-pin ATX connector was. You don't need to put any force, just push it gently and it will go all the way.

It is silent and has a decent 120mm thermal fan which is barely audible even when your PC is running at full load. No overheating issue even when PSU is fully stressed.

There are 5 SATA Power Connectors, 3 Molex, 1 PCIe 6+2 pin, 1 CPU Connector with EPS 12V (8 Pin), 1 Motherboard Connector with 20 + 4 pin and 1 Floppy connector with 4 pins. Should be more than enough for average consumer.

Comes with 3 years of warranty provided officially by Circle so you don't have to worry if it fails or starts malfunctioning although it's unlikely with this unit as it offers tremendous quality, i would be surprised if it fails under 3 years even with heavy usage (14-18hrs per day) and expect it to last at least 5 years with normal usage (6-8hrs per day).

So far for me it's been really good, you can say Indian brands are excellent at providing quality budget products. I hope Indians brands can dominate the market in near future so our economy can grow, we can get rid of unemployment and most importantly poverty. Possibly in future people might realize that extra charge that MNCs take is not worth it, it's not for better quality but actually due to their greed of extra profit margins.

GTA V - Epic Stunts and Action Packed Fun Gameplay Video

This was really one of my most eventful GTA V video, during the first stunt which failed. A pigeon hit my car (either hood or windshield) and died. And at 2nd attempt with different car I successfully completed the stunt. There was so much action, I also did some legacy car stunts in the meantime that weren't too bad.

Destroyed some cars with C4 bombs and while others with Jerry Can oil. Near the end of video you will notice when Police was chasing, i saw two dead bodies on the road which apparently points out that motorbike policeman was in too much rush to catch me and hit them horrendously (being in a hurry).

If OnePlus 6 can be priced competitively in India, why can't other name brands electronics?

I am quite impressed by seeing how well OnePlus phones have been priced in India ever since their first official launch back in Late 2014.

The Official price of OnePlus 6 in USA is 530$ (₹36,000 approx.) In India the price is 35,000 which is barely 1,000Rs. cheaper than USA for base model. This also proves that Import duties and taxes have minimal affect on the final pricing of a product.

So we come down to the conclusion that most MNCs are making extra profit by selling electronics at about 1.25x to 1.50x higher prices compared to America or sometimes Europe. I think the current launch of OnePlus 6 has really proven my point.

That's the reason why building a decent hardware equipped budget PC is a dream for many. I am also in a dilemma due to high prices of pc components and using a pc back from mid-2011 which i'm eager to upgrade.

Though I have everything upgraded except monitor and processor ever since I bought but i still in a hunt for better CPU and bigger monitor.

Most of my upgrades have been budget oriented cheap upgrades like adding another 4GB stick, getting Asus H61 motherboard after my original one (Intel DH61WW) started malfunctioning due to mishandling, adding two Seagate Drives (1TB in early 2015 and 2TB in late 2016) as I initially had only one 500GB WD Blue HDD.

GPU and PSU upgrades for me were a must as they both were failing severely, my GPU had crashing issue in most modern games and my PSU used to cause random restarts and both i replaced 2 years ago (GPU in March 2016, PSU in May 2016). It was such a relief to see all those bogus issues disappear and now i could enjoy doing my stuff without any worry.

Coming back to the topic,

Apple, Samsung, Sony, Microsoft, Nokia, Google etc. are the major brands which people look up-to a lot. There's no second thoughts denying the fact they lead the big chunk of not only smartphone market and but other electronics such as DRAM/NAND Flash chip manufacturer (Samsung), Playstation; Bravia TVs; Blu-ray Players etc. (Sony).

We all are thankful to google for making Android Open Source thus indirectly offering people ultimate smartphones within the reach of their tight budget and who doesn't know about Microsoft for making the most popular and widely used Windows OS for computers.

Now just imagine if these major companies can be honest in their pricing policy then what wonders would it do for India, right? Our economy will get a huge boost, the share market would sky rocket and most importantly even middle class to some lower middle class people would be able to afford the electronics that are unfortunately in present moment considered a luxury in India.

I am hoping one day my dream will come true and we Indians would finally be able to get value for our money, especially in consumer electronics sector.

Fortnite Full PC Gameplay - 50v50 - Battle Royale

Presenting you my first video of Fortnite, though i survived for a while but could have fought better had i found a gun to kill enemies. I did some spectating for good amount of time after dying.

I cut the ending part as i opened discord chat while playing which might have look awkward and it also muted the game sound. Fortnite has decent gameplay but i would say cheesy graphics.

It's not as easy to survive though, however it might look so. I don't know many tricks such as building glass walls for protection and sometimes using them as stairs as well, I'm just a beginner.

Hope you all enjoy my video, i am quite frustrated to see that none of videos really except cricket ones have good reach, as you might see my top 9 videos are cricket and it won't change anytime soon unless youtube rank my other higher and give them some priority.

New Exciting Gameplay Video of PSP classic Tekken 6 on PC

Today, my friend played Tekken 6 on arcade in medium difficulty on my PC. He's quite good at it, took two consecutive perfects before he finished and went home as he was late.
Even though it's quite an old game (more than decade since release) though still graphics on PC look great, Devil Jin a killer character who can easily destroy anyone with his punches and various attacks.
* Video Edited with Camtasia Studio to add intro/outro, volume leveling and cutting unnecessary

* Playing the game on PPSSPP (PSP Emulator) on my Windows 10 desktop PC.

* The Game Was Recorded with OBS Studio on my Desktop PC which has WIndows 10 Pro.

My Sufferings in Tech! GPU, PSU and PS3 etc.

When it comes to tech, I was not the most blessed. I had a series of tragedy that took over and made me feel really frustrated. Main three of those are in the title and i will thoroughly discuss them here. As I don't earn myself much, i am dependent on my family to buy me stuff and as you know computer components are like premium and generally cost alot especially in India where it is considered a luxury. They generally very strict on me to buy computer related stuff and only accept me to purchase components after multiple requests and begging.

1. GPU (originally AMD Radeon HD 6850, now Nvidia GTX 750 Ti)

my 750 ti back in 2016
This was by far my worst nightmare, some demanding games would crash or freeze after few minutes of gameplay. Such as GTA V, Saints Row 3 and few more that i don't remember right now. I originally bought this GPU for 10,000 INR in April 2012 and was fine for about five months before i handed it to the computer shop for repair due to a BSOD during boot. When i reached shop for pickup, the guy was forcefully trying to put gpu into slot, i felt angry for a second but didn't say anything to him. Later what i found was disastrous, certain games started to hang/ freeze or crash.

I was very upset and for about 3 and half year i suffered from it, the GPU got damaged in September 2012 and i got 750 ti in March 2016 on my birthday as a gift which was also a request that got rejected many times and chances for me a getting a new gpu were slim but somehow after many forceful requests to my parents i got to buy it finally after all this struggle.

And the Story doesn't end here...

My new GPU (750 Ti) stopped working properly after my uncle brutally took out the router. (Nov 2016)
> Got a BSOD instantly
> Router's Antenna Got Broke
> Potentially Damaged GPU and Motherboard

Few months before this in either August or September, there was earthing issue at home which stayed for 10 days and during that time my computer wasn't working properly. Getting crashes and errors in games but after it got fixed, everything went back to normal.

I was not sharing Internet with my uncle and he got really angry when i verbally abused him, so i understand there was some of my fault too which resulted in this loss.

I RMA'd the GPU back in April 2017, which took around 10 days to get replacement. Originally it arrived 3-4 days before i went for pickup but they couldn't reach on phone and i was hesitant to call them so i got it a bit late.

The Replacement i got was not proper as most games were having noticeable  micro stuttering though scrolling lag issue was fixed. It was a brand new gpu as i could see new box with gpu having transparent plastic cover on the logo and they gave their original dvi to vga adapter while the one i have got broke so i put up fake one which didn't use to work. Maybe I paid the price of being dishonest in this case considering how GPU issues weren't resolved completely even after RMA.

Though it works much better than before but most demanding games run really poor like 30fps lock even though it looks better than console (the PS3 i have) but still not enjoyable as the GPU has whole lot more potential than this in proper working condition.

2. PSU (orignally Corsair VS450, now Circle 500W APFC)

stunning looks

Used to have really cheap low quality power supply that comes with cabinet, had several issues such as random restarts, components such as HDD failing and GPU/ CPU overheating.

Thought about getting a budget PSU which i did back in Jan 2014 (VS450 for 2,300₹) but it was too big for my case. After six months (back in July 2014) i did get to buy a new case which i got arranged at nearby computer shop.

It seemed like a good budget psu with double shielded cable and elegant design but just under 4 months (Oct. 2014) it started giving me random reboot issues. In initially suspected it was my PSU and tried almost everything to fix it but it won't.

After almost 1 year and 7 months of suffering i got a good budget local branded PSU (Circle 500W for 2,550₹) which has served me well even to this day with almost 2 years past. It's really a quality unit, Indian brands usually provide good stuff under affordable budget. IMO, it's better than many other brands PSUs which cost almost double. The only issue i had was pretty minor, the power cable that came with the unit was a bit loose won't fit tight in either my monitor or PSU socket. Though it wasn't much of a hassle as i had two other which i used before.

3. PS3 (bought back in March 2011)

my ps3 back in early 2013

Before we got new PC with LCD monitor, me and my brother used to play on PS3 hooked up to a old sluggish CRT TV. After 2 months when we got new PC (May 2011) it came with a decent monitor which didn't have HDMI so we used to hook it up to DVI port on monitor and used VGA for computer. Just under 1yr (March 2012), the VGA port became faulty as i won't detect monitor and picture wasn't sharp and before.

Also had display scaling issues with sometimes black bars around screen or display going too much misplaced outside display area. So, finally we had to always unplug the DVI cable from computer and put the one of ps3. This was pain in the ass, i suffered from this for around 4 years and 5 months before my PS3's HDMI port gave up just one month before i got HDTV (Oct. 2016), my sheer bad luck.

After month later, i bought a Component to VGA converter which didn't work on my TV as it doesn't have YPbPr color format input but my monitor did. When it was set to RGB the display would show too much yellowish color all around the display, changing to YPbPr did fix it but not the issues i had with vga port before. Even with the brightness set too full, it would still appear a bit dark and picture wasn't so sharp as well. Then last year i got PS2 to HDMI converter, it was originally made for PS2 to convert Component Input to HDMI.

As PS3 and PS2 both have same type of port for Component/Composite (printed as AV SCART under connector). It worked really well both on my Monitor as well as TV but has really minor issue like some weird blurred lines which wasn't visible with fair distance (only noticeable when too close like 4-6 inches away from display).

Regret Buying a stupid cheap motherboard for My Computer

I consider myself lucky that my 750 ti works with my mercury motherboard just fine, it has stock bios back from 2011 (when 2nd gen / sandy bridge launched). They haven't released any bios update and not even stock bios are listed on their site. Only few audio/ lan or video driver.

I was skeptical when i heard this brand name, never really heard before and all-in-all a completely unknown brand, but it was my only option as i was on a tight budget. I still regret my decision and wish i could have gone with intel oem mobo but it was twice the price though i did had the chance but i went miser.

Initially, i was thinking about getting DB75EN which has all good features such as SATA 3, USB 3.0 and PCIe 3.0. But the price online was quite ridiculous (especially on amazon). So i thought to get a cheaper option such as the one originally came with my PC, DH61WW. It was priced around ₹3,500 (54$) few months ago (i think around in august) but due to some heavy fluctuation the price went double and currently it is selling for ₹7,000 (108$). It has PCIe 2.0, USB 2.0, SATA 2 (quite older technology). But the one mind boggling feature was it has fully functional UEFI BIOS (which were released for it in a bios update around the launch of Windows 8).

I consider myself unlucky for ones that the initial replacement from Gigabyte (H61M-S) i got had a manufacturing defect which would cause it to stop booting after BSOD crash of changed bios settings from IDE to AHCI or vice-versa. Mercury is really an amateur motherboard manufacturing company and it shows in their work and effort to manufacture these motherboards.

One of the review on Amazon India of their PIH55Z motherboard says  (1 star rating review) :

First of all this mercury pih55z is a mini ITX motherboard with all the essential features cut-off, It is the worlds tiniest motherboard I've ever seen, square shaped, probably the size of my stretch Palm !!! It comes with no features at all. It is a basic motherboard like Raspberry Pi , It comes with American Megatrends Bios (AMI Bios ver080015/v2.67) which is the worst bios ever .Most of the important settings( like CPU Frequency , CPU/Ram voltage ) are locked and hidden. It has a bad OEM Lock, so you can't use Intel turbo boost' technology and locks your CPU speed to low and stock !!! It has only one 4pin CPU fan connectors, there is no provision for any other System fans . It just is plainly rubbish and has a misleading title saying " Extreme " but is a basic board like raspberry pi and has no basic features that a H55 lga1156 socket motherboard should have !!! Overall avoid buying this, it is worth less than Rs.500 actually it is not even worth buying for 1ruppee. Avoid , Mercury is an inexperienced manufacturer that doesn't know what a motherboard is !!!! Don't buy , I bought from from a seller called Comfortliving (a.k.a Gamebox) , the product sucks and is the worst mobo I've ever seen !!! Although Comfortliving delivered good service , Mercury and The bios are the worst parts, No proper CPU support for Intel CPU with turbo boost .... Don't buy unless it is Intel celeron or pentium... In short buy a MSI or Asus Motherboard , this is not a motherboard for an i5 or i7 though it says it supports, driver issues are the worst, no driver available at only CD drivers which don't install at all....this is one of the worst motherboards...

Original Review : Do not buy this at any cost , it sucks.!!!

Don Bradman Cricket 14 (DBC14) - IPL 2016 Edition - Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Rising Pune Supergiants

Modded Version of the game (DBC14) with newly released IPL 2016 edition patch.

Due to a bug in the patch, fielding restrictions didn't lift at all and so i couldn't have even have more than 2 fielders around boundary at all.

It was an awesome match, i got hat-trick on the first three balls of the match with the bowling of Ravichandran Ashwin.

Bowling somewhat did went down somewhat afterwards but still the total posted by Virat Kohli's team was not good enough.

I did hit few sixes but too many dot balls made the game go down to the wire, in 4th over after hitting the six i though Dhoni should hit the winning runs (hopefully a six) but due to that i played some weird shots resulting in 4 dot balls and 2 wickets which made the game go till the last over and luckily i was able to hit six on 3rd ball.

After 1 needed off 3 balls no one would have expected to game to finish with a wide with last ball remaining that too due to a bug that occurs even when the batsman is in the line of ball but shuffle aside too much which game registers as not playable (might have been fixed in new updates though).

Due to issues with my Xbox 360 controller (i got a cheap chinese rebrand which ultimately sucks and had only 3 months warranty), i can't give proper direction to my shots and footwork is messed up too. Both Left and Right stick are fucked up so i don't play above pro level as i might experience difficulty.

Right Stick still not that bad but due to jammed Left Stick I can't spin the ball at all which causes me to be smashed all around the park during their overs.
